An interview with Simon

Land Studio’s Simon Richards is interviewed in the new issue of Pro Landscaper magazine.

In a two-page Life/Style feature he was asked about everything from some of his best projects (a favourite is his work with the magnificent Lyme Park in Cheshire), what inspires him (“My love of nature came from growing up in the Welsh countryside”), and his hobbies, which include cycling.

Simon once cycled the epic 735km Raid Pyreneen route across the Pyrenees from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea in under 100 hours.

He also recalls living in America at the start of his career when he designed gorilla and lion enclosures for a firm of zoo architects.
