How we transformed a playground in Oxfordshire

We created a colourful new playground for St Mary’s School in Witney, Oxfordshire.

To transform their old outside learning environment, we created a new design running the length of the school which incorporates adventure play spaces, a trim trail and a storytelling area.

There’s also a reflection space and a pond with a dipping platform as well as an all-weather grassed area. Sensory planting punctuates the route through the spaces.

The playground was officially opened by Robert Courts MP.

And what do the children think? One of the pupils, Alana, said: “I think all of the new playground is brilliant because it has been made with love.”
