Projects are complex. Which is why we love to be involved with a project as early as possible.

Taking a nature led approach to design and engineering allows us to deliver exceptional solutions that maximise the potential of your land.

We were recently involved in a masterplan for a new housing estate in Cheshire. At this early stage, where there is a vision for the whole site, we could give critical guidance on how the topography and existing water management could influence the masterplan.

Using our in-house civil engineering expertise, our team devised a design solution using the site’s naturally formed water channels which removed the need for deep below ground conveyance pipework.

For another project in North Wales, we were asked to look at a SuDS solution for a site where old farm buildings were being redeveloped into luxury residential accommodation.

Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) provide an alternative to the direct channelling of surface water through networks of sewers and pipes to watercourses nearby.

Our solution incorporated an area of amenity recreation space, giving multiple benefits for the residents, whilst storing water in exceedance flood events.

We are also in early discussions around incorporating SuDS and landscape features into a residential scheme in Chester which includes incorporation of permeable paving, rain gardens and water retention to slow the water down into the public combined sewer systems.
