Launch of our new Building with Nature accreditation service

We’re delighted to introduce a new service for Land Studio customers – a Building with Nature accreditation.

A growing number of local authorities are turning to Building with Nature (BwN) accreditation to help frame their green infrastructure Strategy and to define what good looks like.

Increasingly, developers are also using the Standards to create better places for people and wildlife.

BwN is the UK’s first green infrastructure benchmark and it is based around 12 standards relating to Core, Wellbeing, Water and Wildlife. The aim is to help residential and commercial developers to design and deliver high-quality green infrastructure.

Rachael Fenton, one of our brilliant Associate Landscape Architects, is an Approved BwN Assessor, covering Wales and the North West.

Rachael said: Using these standards, planning authorities, professional experts and developers can deliver high quality green infrastructure, elevate schemes and build better quality. We should put nature front and centre because it has benefits for generations to come.”

If you would like to know more about BwN and how your project can be accredited, please drop Rachael an email rachael@landstudio-uk.com
