Permission secured for Shropshire caravan park

We have been working as part of a team to secure planning permission for an extension to a caravan park on the Shropshire/Powys border.

Foggy Bottom Holiday Park wanted to accommodate an additional 30 static caravans with a year-round holiday season, taking the total on the park to 80 pitches.

Set in 23 acres along the banks of a river, the family-run site, run by husband-and-wife team Stephen and Kate Higgins and their son Scott, is set in spectacular scenery.

To help support their planning application submission, which included changing the use of an adjoining pastoral field to accommodate more static caravans, we carried out a detailed Landscape and Visual Appraisal report.

Our work set out the landscape context and character, included a detailed visual appraisal of the local area, and showed that the proposed development would not have any adverse effects on the landscape.

We are delighted that our work has contributed to getting the project over the line.
