A podcast with Lisa

Our brilliant in-house sustainable drainage expert Lisa Sawyer has been chatting to Material Source for their latest podcast featuring ’42 Roles in the Built Environment’.
The podcast talks to people who lead, plan, design, build, facilitate and push through change within the built environment.
In it, Lisa, a chartered engineer with over 20 years of experience, chats about everything from a job in London when she was 21 and the only female on site with 200 men, to her role as Director of Sustainable Drainage at Land Studio.
She talks about the importance of a fully integrated landscape and civil engineering approach and how bringing sustainable drainage in the wider site design can enhance the landscape and biodiversity, reduce flooding  and create a better sense of place.
