Our education work

We’re working on the design and access for a proposed £11m development at Petty Pool College in Sandiway, Northwich.

If granted permission, the outdoor education and specialist college will cater for 160 young people who have learning disabilities and difficulties. It is anticipated that over 6,000 local school children will benefit from the new centre each year.

Designed by us and Squires and Brown Architects, and overseen by CV Planning, the inclusive project will include a community hub and an outdoor learning space. It will enhance the local area and benefit both the surrounding community and learners at Petty Pool.

Our main design objectives are to create inspiring educational spaces for pupils, staff and visitors to enjoy, providing important connections and integration with the surrounding 40-acre ancient woodland setting. It’s an exciting project.
